Since 2009, he has represented Francistown South under various parties, including the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP), the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), and the Alliance for Progressives (AP), demonstrating his ability to navigate the political landscape. “It’s true that I have won successive elections under different political brands, and the secret is that I work very closely with the people. I always make an effort to understand people’s problems and find long-lasting solutions,” explains the outspoken legislator who spent most of his life in opposition politics before UDC usurped power from the BDP in the 2024 polls.

Mmolotsi’s primary party, the AP, is part of a tripartite coalition government with the Botswana National Front (BNF) and the Botswana Peoples Party (BPP).

Don't let FMD outbreak drag on
