Judgement day for Moroka in shooting death

LOBATSE: Justice Godfrey Nthomiwa is tomorrow scheduled to hand down judgement in a case in which Margret Danster wants De Beers’ Botswana resident director Neo Moroka to compensate her with P2 million for shooting and killing her 18-year-old son in 2014.

Nthomiwa is expected to rule on whether Moroka has a case to answer.

Moroka, who is also the chairperson of the Vision 2036 presidential task team, shot the teenager dead on his farm in 2014, allegedly telling police he mistook the youngster for a dog.
