Driver dies in road mishap

A 49-year-old man has died following a road accident in Block 8, Gaborone, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to Broadhurst Traffic Officer, Assistant Superintendent Matlhogonolo Baraedi, police received a report of the incident at around 1 am. The deceased was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Preliminary investigations suggest the driver may have been speeding and lost control upon reaching the traffic circle. Police also suspect that fatigue could have been a contributing factor.
