Woman seriously injured in road accident

A 27-year-old Zimbabwean woman is fighting for her life at Princess Marina Hospital after sustaining severe head injuries in a road accident that occurred early Saturday morning.

According to the Mogoditshane Police Station commander, Superintendent Mompoloki Ramaphoi, the accident happened around 5 am along the Metsimotlhabe–Kopong road. The injured woman was travelling in a Toyota Corolla with two other occupants after returning from a night out in Mogoditshane.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old Zimbabwean woman, lost control, veered off the road, and fell into a culvert.
