The body of Lance Corporal, Goitseone Tshegetsang, arrived in the country yesterday. Tshegetsang died last week Wednesday in Mozambique where he was deployed on a SADC mission.

According to the family spokesperson, Motshwari Rakgotla, the deceased passed due to a heart attack. He was found on the floor after falling from the bed. "There is no foul play. Postmortem was conducted and we are satisfied with the outcome of it. He will be buried on Saturday in Letlhakeng. His body has been handed to us by the BDF. Therefore, we will be working hand in hand with BDF until burial day. So far there is a good working relationship between us and them," Rakgotla said in an interview on Saturday. The deceased leaves behind his two children, his two siblings, and his mother and father.

According to a press release from the BDF, "The deceased, a non-commissioned officer (NCO), was deployed as part of the BDF's Contingent 5 under SAMIM Forces in the Cabo Delgado Province for peace support operations in the Republic of Mozambique."
