Crash report can�t be shared with litigious families � attorney

Lobatse: In an interesting turn of events, the High Court on Wednesday heard the shocking news that the police helicopter crash report cannot be released if the families of the deceased officers intend to “apportion blame.”

Superintendent Keokeditswe Sobatha from Molepolole, Assistant Superintendent Shepherd Ntobezi from Kalakamati and Inspector Ricardo Modiri Mabotho from Lekgoloboto lost their lives in the accident in April 2014.

State lawyer, Charles Gulubane told the fully packed court, among the audience the relatives of the deceased officers, that they cannot be given the report because it is clear they intend to use it for legal purposes.
