Bully lover denied bail

FRANCISTOWN: A 36-year-old man of Gerald Estates who is accused of grievously injuring his girlfriend was on Tuesday denied bail when he appeared before court for mention.

Giving reasons why Gofaone Dinko should not be granted bail, sergeant Jacob Handly said that Dinko has a pending murder case in Mahalapye.

“The accused was granted bail in the murder case on condition that he does not commit any offence. However, he grievously injured his girlfriend and caused malicious damage to property last month at Gerald Estates. He also injured other people who tried to stop him from assaulting his girlfriend,” said Handly.
