BOPEU Bargaining Council Application Frustrated

Efforts by the Botswana Public Service Union (BOPEU) and its friends, Botswana Nurses Union (BONU), Botswana Government Workers Union (BOGOWU) and Tertiary and Allied Workers Union(TAWU) to have their application into the Public Service Bargaining Council (PSBC) considered in time for the 2016/17 salary negotiations appear to have hit a snag.

The Secretary General of the PSBC Willard Ulaula confirmed to The Monitor yesterday that the PSBC did not consider BOPEU application when it convened on February 4 last week, “No.
