FRANCISTOWN: The much anticipated case in which Duma Boko's legitimacy as Botswana National Front presidential candidate is being challenged has been postponed to July 12.

After barring Boko from contesting the BNF presidency at its forthcoming congress, the BNF central committee subsequently gave him the go-ahead to stand. This did not impress the duo of Thuso Mogorosi, Sekgopi Bogatsu,

Moses Kajane and Chalido Madome, who are the applicants one to four in descending order. Represented by Masire Mthimkhulu of Masire Attorneys, the applicants made an urgent application before Justice Moses Chinhengo of the Francistown High Court that Boko be disqualified from the race for the BNF presidency. According to them, the BNF membership card that Boko currently holds is not authentic. The BNF is cited in the case as the first respondent, while Boko is the second respondent.
