With three women set to compete against each other at the upcoming Botswana National Front (BNF) Women’s League (WL) elections, the race is becoming increasingly intense. The contenders are Monica Molome, the current president Katlego Morolong and Tebogo Khakhu who are all vying for leadership in what is shaping up to be a highly competitive contest.

Significantly, this marks the first time the Women’s League is heading into an election while the BNF is the ruling party through its affiliation to the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC).

As a result, each campaign team appears highly motivated, bolstered by support and sponsorships pouring in from various quarters.
