The accident has raised questions about the use of the vehicle after official working hours, as it was reportedly supposed to have been parked by 3:30 pm but was involved in the fatal crash at around 10:30 pm. Alcohol was also found inside the vehicle, prompting suspicions that the occupants may have been drinking before the accident or whilst driving.
Confirming the incident, Broadhurst Traffic Officer, Assistant Superintendent Matlhogonolo Baraedi, said police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
