BNF office evades 968 Lobatse petitioners

Botswana National Front (BNF) spokesperson, Moeti Mohwasa yesterday claimed that the petitioners who sought reinstatement of Lobatse MP, Nehemiah Modubule, petitioning the organisation's office in Gaborone recently, are not BNF members.

Over the weekend, 968 BNF members from Lobatse marched to the BNF offices to petition the president of the BNF, Otsweletse Moupo, to re-instate Modubule, who has been expelled from the party along with other stalwarts opposed to the party president.

No Central Committee members were present to receive the petition when the vociferous activists sang and danced outside the BNF offices where they found the gates locked.
