The UDC recently released the list of constituencies allocated to each member affiliates. Following the exit of Botswana Congress Party (BCP) from the UDC, the latter’s member affiliates are Botswana National Front (BNF), Botswana People’s Party (BPP), Alliance for Progressives (AP) and Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF).

From the allocations, the BNF got 26 constituencies, the AP has 11, the BPF managed to secure 14 while the BPP was allocated only five. Now that the negotiations have been completed, some members especially the BNF are upset that certain constituencies were given to parties that do not have a presence or a strong support base in those areas.
