FRANCISTOWN: Two Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Bulela Ditswe council candidates who feel mistreated by their party have vowed to fight on until "justice is seen to be done".

Monarch South councillor Ignatius Moswaane, who last August, successfully defended his ward by 155 votes aagainst nominated councillor Baboni Mosalagae's154 votes now has issues with his party. Last Friday when the rest of the wards and parliamentary ballots were re-counted, as ordered by the BDP Central Committee, Monarch South was not included in the package and instead a re-run has been separately ordered.

When Moswaane was asked about his reaction to the party decision he defiantly said: "I won't accept a re-run. There must be convincing reasons for such a decision and not merely that someone lost via a single vote and then it automatically warrants a re-run." Moswaane challenges the party to conduct thorough investigations into circumstances surrounding his matter.
