Alindo Engineering faces blacklisting over P78m-worth of projects

Minister for Basic Education Bagalatia Arone has told Parliament that they are likely to blacklist Alindo Engineering and General Maintenance over failure to deliver on tenders they are awarded.

In the last three years, the company has been given jobs to the tune of P78 million and only one of the four projects the company was awarded is near completion.

Members of Parliament had called for action to be taken against the owner of the company, Albert Mbayi, who is the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) member that challenged for deputy treasurer in the party’s last congress.
