Early in 2015, our Gantsi Correspondent, LEINANYANA TSIANE, shared her struggle with kidney failure, in the form of a heartfelt article. Leinanyana passed away last Friday after a courageous battle. In tribute to her and other patients suffering through this illness, we reproduce her words

When the doctor broke the news that my diagnosis indicated chronic kidney failure, I thought he was playing a crude, cruel joke and would surely say the remedial words: “just kidding”.
