BEMA urges producers to utilise E-commerce platform

The Botswana Exporters and Manufacturers Association (BEMA) on Friday urged local producers to use e-commerce as a platform to market their products.

BEMA held an exporters and manufacturers' exposition, which ran concurrently with a workshop and among other important issues addressed  bemaexporthouse.com and e-commerce.According to BEMA experts, bemaexporthouse.com is an e-commerce trading portal for any company or business in manufacturing or processing who produce products intended for the export market. It is a platform where such individuals or businesses can showcase and sell their products to the world.

BEMA argues that in this emerging global economy, e-commerce and e-business have increasingly become a necessary component of business strategy and a strong catalyst for economic development. Further BEMA says the integration of information and communications technology (ICT) in business has revolutionised relationships with organisations' internal and external publics.
