'Pointless' AFCON campaign requires raw, unfiltered review

Zebras' Africa Cup of Nations campaign has come and gone, and predictably, it proved to be an underwhelming experience. After the 2012 lessons, much was expected from the Zebras; but there was no resistance, guile or statement of intent, as the Zebras failed to kick.

It was more of the same as a rudderless Zebras surrendered against heavyweights, Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

There were hopes of at least the nation's first point in their final group stage match against Benin, but that too, ended in disappointment.
