Pearluza to rock Namibia this weekend

Francistown-based house-kwasa artist Pearluza (Pearl Thomas) is billed to make her first ever international stage appearance, following the release of her first album last year in December, titled Angeke Si Lahlane.

Pearluza told Showbiz that she will be leaving for Rundu and Katimamulilo today (Wednesday) for two-weekend shows, following an invitation to perform there. According to the musician, her instant climb to 'stardom' was realised following a musical show she performed at, where she curtain-raised for  kwasa kwasa's Biza Mupulu at Trekkers Night Club in Maun early this year.

"Although I performed only one song during the show, a lot of people wanted  more from me. It is unfortunate that the police came in to close down the venue when I was about to perform the second song. I was disappointed as I had wanted people to have a taste of my brand new album," said Pearluza.
