Thamaga Shooting Stars (TSS) halted their losing streak in emphatic fashion on Friday evening, edging Notwane FC 1–0 in a tightly contested First Division South League match played at GU Stadium.

The victory not only restored confidence within the Thamaga’s side camp but also served as sweet revenge after Shooting Stars went down by a solitary goal to Notwane in the first round of fixtures.

The decisive moment arrived in the 55th minute when Tlamelo Abueng kept his composure from the penalty spot to hand TSS a priceless three points.
