On Friday the show kicked off on a high note with a local dance group G-wawa warming up the audience who were getting a bit anxious after  a delay. The group seemed to have revived the spirits of the audience.  The cherry on top was one of the best rappers around,  A.T.I. The self-proclaimed Lekhete. He  left the audience begging for more with his stage antics. The My Star performances kick-started with duets performances by Sharon and Motswafere delivering six time Grammy award winner Adele' Rolling in the deep. The pair who has received great raves from the judges week in and out continued where they left off, giving the audience something to cheer.

Tebogo and Boikanyo showed they were the audience's favourites as they had to wait on stage for the screaming to stop before they could belt out the "My Girl" by the Temptations. With Tebogo's strong voice and Boikanyo's stage command they proved they can win the competition.Last was Ayanda and Amogelang singing Jordan Sparks' tattoo. Ayanda sounded much better with Amogelang than before though she was still receiving disapproval from the audience.
