Singing for the viewers' votes to make it through to the next round and hopefully to the Top 20, most contestants battled to come out in song vocally, which the judges characterised as a bad night overall.
Sid was the least impressed with the crowd failing to agree with the rest of the judges on some contestants who gave the audience a bit of hope. Sid thought most of the singers were killed by the wrong choice of songs as they failed to showcase their powerful voices.The judges thought some contestants chose songs that were either too big for them to handle or those that did not suit their voices and style of singing. "I am not impressed with the choice of songs for most of you tonight and most of you cannot even connect with the audience, it really sums up a bad night," said Sid.
