Saturday afternoon was a crazy one for Old Naledi residents as Maitisong Open Festival was brought to them by The Department of Arts and Culture together with Maitisong Festival crew from Maruapula.

Old Naledi residents attended the show in large numbers as they filled the whole grounds where people could barely walk as it was very crowded. No one wanted to be left behind as such chances where people are able to meet their favourite acts in a festival free of charge are rare.Vasco and Flexible Musica from Old Naledi did not want to disappoint their communities as they unleashed the best kwasakwasa performance leaving the audience begging for more. Mogwana traditional group also displayed a beautiful traditional dance as the oldies who seemed to be enjoying the music more than the young folk could not stop chanting and ululating.

Raymond Gaebape and his dancers whom the crowd had long been waiting for as many demanded him to perform  his famous song, Marina Le Nyangagwe did not let Vasco outshine them as they also showed the crowd how they do the Rhumba dance in Broadhurst.Molly who introduced himself as the King of Gospel who was accompanied by Kitso revived the crowd with their sweet gospel melodies. The duo sang their hearts out leaving many blessed. He threw some money to the crowd who scrambled for it.The men in dreadlocks called Dangeroustas entertained with their irresistible hip hop and motswako tunes.  Hell's Kichen decided to give their fans sweets.
