Sitting around a large fire, the group had waited wishfully for electricity to return but with little hope of power returning soon they ruptured into song and dance.Like small children during the old days, the crowd which included both the young and old traditional performers broke into a traditional song as it became apparent that power was not returning any time soon.

Iconic traditional songs like Khoba and Ba Jele Tamati complemented by their original dance soon filled the space and the dust and the sparks from the big fire competed for space in the air as the two cultures met.The Swedish contingent of the crowd were not to be left out as they joined in the fun and introduced their own traditional song and dance.The locals were immediately captivated as Swede violin players Goran Premberg and Susanne Linder led the crowd in celebrating the European culture.
