Madimabe reincarnated

At 33, he is arguably a young man, but when he opens his mouth he changes completely, roaring like a lion. Perhaps it is that baritone voice of his - deep and booming - that separates this giant of a youth from his peers. He comes across as an elderly man who has lived life and experienced its highs and lows.

Physically he is well-built, what you would call a giant, an Okonkwo figure (if you still remember Achebe's Things Fall Apart). Otlaathusa Tshipa, who goes by the sobriquet Deben Natale, towers over almost everything when he gets into a place. It is not only his large frame that dominates the scene. Even his voice, inspired by his love for song and dance has a way of taking over the sonic space.
