TS Galaxy owner, Tim Sukazi says his club once took a decision not to sign players from Botswana due to the unpleasant experiences in 2019.

Sukazi, a lawyer and a former player agent, signed three players, Mosha Gaolaolwe, Thero Setsile and Ezekiel Morake after an impressive year in which the Zebras reached the COSAFA Cup final. The trio has since returned home after a brief stint with the team. “We had a horrible experience with our first ever intake of three Botswana players way back in 2019.

I wouldn’t want to go into details so as not to jeopardise their thriving careers. We ended up making a decision not to ever consider a player from Botswana in the near future,” Sukazi told Mmegi Sport. He, however, acknowledged it would be unfair to paint all Botswana players with the same brush, and said, “we will have to see what the future holds”.
