Top local football referee, Tshepo Gobagoba, is facing multiple charges, including sexual harassment and gender-based misconduct in a case that is before the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee (DC). The DC met on April 9, 2026, to consider the charges laid against Gobagoba, an elite Premier League referee.

He was brought before the committee by fellow match official Lesang Tooto, one of Botswana’s emerging female referees, who accused him of harassment.

According to the documents, the DC, after reviewing evidence, witness testimonies and supporting material, has provisionally charged Gobagoba.
