Denzel Seetso has narrowly missed out on qualifying for the French Open Juniors despite winning the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Tour Singles (J60) over the weekend.

The match was played in Pretoria. This was the second title for Seetso this year. He booked himself a spot in the singles final by beating Connor Thomas Doig of South Africa 6-1, 6-1 during the semi final.

At the time, he overcame John Bothman of South Africa 6-2, 6-1. The Botswana Tennis Association (BTA) president, Oaitse Thipe told Sport Monitor that since the tennis star missed out on the French Open Juniors, he is now trying to target the US Open in August. Thipe explained that Seetso was supposed to be among the top 100 players in the world in order to qualify for the French Open Juniors.
