The Botswana Football League (BFL) alongside, elite league title sponsor, FNB Botswana today unveiled the Premiership's new logo and official name.

FNB Botswana will sponsor the league for P28.5 million over the next three years, which translates to P9.5 million per season. In a launch held at the FNB Head Office this morning, FNB Botswana and BFL unveiled the new logo and revealed that the elite league will officially be called, the FNB Premiership. The new FNB Premiership logo is a kika (mortar)-inspired design while the league trophy is also crafted along the idea. The traditional mortar inspires the new logo and trophy to signify the transformation of a raw product into a refined and nourished product.

The FNB Botswana sponsorship comes into effect at the beginning of the 2024–2025 football season and ends after the 2026–2027 campaign. Speaking at the launch, FNB Botswana CEO, Steve Bogatsu said the partnership with BFL is not merely to finance the elite league but to bring a long-lasting positive impact on local football. "This is now a partnership and we must work together to uphold the principles that drive football forward. FNB is not just a financial partner, we are a dedicated supporter of the entire football community. We are committed to providing resources that help athletes, coaches as well as the administrators to achieve excellence. The bank is excited to embark on this journey with BPL and we are confident that together, we can create a lasting positive exchange of football in our country," Bogatsu said.
