The Botswana Netball Association (BONA) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Gaborone tomorrow, where some positions in the executive committee will be up for grabs. BONA spokesperson, Mokeresete Mokeresete said the association is ready to conduct the elections and the other business of the day.

“Everything is set for the AGM to be held at Street of Gold in Block 8 and we are just waiting for the day,” Mokeresete said. “This year, 2023 is an elective year for BONA and three positions are up grabs, which are vice president technical, secretary-general and the treasure,” he added.

The BONA executive committee has seven positions, but only three will be contested for. Oteng Masole and Onkabetse Kesekang will contest for the vice president-technical position while Mmaneke Maplanka, Kereemang Montwedi and Thulaganyo Retshabile have raised their hands for the secretary-general's post. BONA had not released nominees for the treasurer's contest at press time.
