Tshelametsis injury-plagued career ends

FRANCISTOWN: As the sunset on FC Satmos beMOBILE Premiership stay, veteran goalkeeper, Kagiso Tshelametsis injury plagued lackluster football career also petered out.

Tshelametsi sustained a career- threatening knee injury in 2007 during a game between Notwane and Nico United. After suffering a minor knee injury while in camp with the Zebras, Tshelametsi aggravated the knock when his Notwane played Nico United.

In the match, ‘Tshela’ as he is affectionately known, tore his knee ligaments, an injury that was to take him five years to recover.
