Tributes pour in for Shakes Kungwane

Condolences flooded in for South Africa football legend and TV analyst Isaac “Shakes” Kungwane, who died on Wednesday after being admitted to hospital.

He was 43 years old. He played for Kaizer Chiefs for eight years – (1990-1998). He also appeared in the colours of Manning Rangers from 1999 to 2001 and won two caps for Bafana Bafana.

The former Chiefs star, who was also capped by South Africa, retired in 2002 and had latterly become a highly regarded football analyst on SuperSport.
