Tladi are cricket champions

Tladi Cricket Club were crowned champions after edging Ditlhase by 18runs in a Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) T20 final at BCA Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Waseem Tajbhay top scored with 43 to lead his side to victory.  Captain Nabil Master and Karabo Motlhanka each scored 25runs.  Vimal Joseph was the man of the match with four wickets for 14runs. Tladi won the toss and elected to bat with Motlhanka and hard-hitting batsman Zain Abbassi opening.

However, the growing partnership was shot-lived after Afzal Patel bowled out Abbassi for 18runs, breaking a 26run partnership.
