SELEBI-PHIKWE: First Division side, Satmos, has sacked Peter Muchina hardly five games into the new season.

Satmos' spokesperson, Mpenzeni Sambadawe said they decided to part ways with the Zimbabwean coach after he failed to meet the demands of his contracts. He said their target was to be unbeaten at this stage but the team has lost a couple of games which included a 2-1 defeat to Orapa Wanderers and this probably sealed Muchina's fate. "The loss did not go down well with the management and we had to convene a meeting this week to decide his future with the team. It was agreed during the meeting to relieve him of his duties. We have settled everything that was due to him," Sambadawe said. He said the club was disappointed with the draws against No Mathata and Sua Flamingoes. Sambadawe said their target this season is a return to the Premier League.  After the sacking of Muchina, former Satmos' player, Phinda Mbereki will temporarily guide the team as the club looks for a permanent replacement. Sambandawe stated that they have taken drastic action early in the season to show that they are serious about getting promoted. Muchina joined Satmos after getting the sack from Premier League side, Nico United at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, Botshabelo-based First Division North side, No Mathata clash with Sua Flamingoes tomorrow in the First Division.
