On Saturday, thousands of football fans across the country watched as leading marksman, Terrence Mandaza and flying winger, Edwin Moalosi cancelled out Michael Mogaladi's first half penalty to lead Township Rollers to their second Coca-Cola Cup title in five seasons. Mochudi Centre Chiefs ran out of steam and in the end, Rollers' fitness carried them through.

Finest athlete
Amos 'Shoes' Godirwang put on a stellar performance in the middle for Rollers. The midfield maestro sent his Chiefs' opponents flying in the wrong direction the whole afternoon as he stamped his authority. Godirwang's masterful performance ensured Rollers beat their old enemy 3-1 in extra time.

Week's disappointment
Match fixing. There are allegations that some clubs are out to influence the outcome of games through bribes. This is bad for football if ever it is true. We know that there are clubs that will try by all means to buy their Premier League status. For all sober club owners, this practice should be discouraged at all costs. We know these are mere allegations, which have not been proven, but as the adage goes, there is no smoke without fire.
