Rains stay away as T20 tourney starts

For a worthy cause: Team Tladi in their kit in support of Cancer Awareness. Tladi won their T20 opening match against the Southern Rocks by seven wickets.

The national T20 cricket league begun on a positive note this past weekend with all teams in action after initial fears of rain.

Four games were played in the north and south regions.

In the opening match played in the south, Ditlhase walloped Shining Stars by 10 wickets through a solid century stand between Akhlaq Raja and Sooraj Nair at the Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) Oval.
