SELEBI-PHIKWE: Prisons XI remain hopeful of surviving the relegation axe after the side managed to pull a surprise 1-1 draw against high flying Nico United over the weekend here.

An upbeat Prisons XI coach, Maxwell Moyo told Mmegi Sport in a post-match interview that his game plan was to win the match against Nico but he nevertheless welcomed the point they gained saying it was better than nothing. He said his plan was to deploy a lone striker and make sure that the rest of the team defended because when given more room, Nico could have scored many goals.

Regarding the goal that his side conceded, Moyo pointed out that it was due to a mere slip-up by the defence. He stated that there was still a good chance for his side to continue playing in the elite league.Prison XI was the first to score on the 12th minute after a brilliant Set-piece that was taken by Olefile Magetse just outside the box. On the other hand, Nico players seemed to be a pale shadow of themselves.
