Prisons coach promises wonders for next season

After surviving First Division south relegation over the weekend, Prisons XI coach Ernest Dintweng has promised supporters that results would be better next season.

Since its eviction from the Premier League, the team has struggled to prove their mettle in the lower division and failed to make a quick return to the elite league. Dintweng  said that is about to change and promised a return to the top flight football.

Prisons, however, will face tough competition from the recently fallen giants Notwane and Letlapeng who after suffering humiliation in the Premier League have vowed a quick return to the top. The Prisons coach was first to admit that his side has not been up to scratch in the just ended season having been forced to secure their status in the league through a play-off.

“It is straight forward, the team did not play well the whole season,” he said, but quickly stated that, “our team is a brand representing a department and we will do better next season. People are going to see a better Prisons XI next season. We are using a relatively young squad”.  He said they were determined not to take the team down. “Get back to me next season you will see a better Prisons XI,” he added. Dintweng further said they have always prepared for the relegation battle. He said towards the end of the season they appreciated the fact that they may end up having to take on Killer Giants in the play-off since Notwane was bound to relegate. “We prepared for such developments and never stopped training because we knew Killer Giants had soft points,” Dintweng  revealed.
