Paralympics has opted out of the Gaborone Africa Youth Games because of lack of participants. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Africa Paralympic Committee (APC) decided not to include the code in the games after realising that it is not possible for countries to raise teams to effectively participate in the event.
