Omitted Kapeko still eyeing national team return

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Kutlwano Volleyball Club captain, Shadrack Kapeko says he is still willing to represent Botswana despite being excluded from the squad that travelled to Mozambique recently.

Kapeko is the longest serving national team player having played for the country for 23 years, 21 as the captain. The national team travelled to Mozambique for the World Cup qualifiers. When asked about his surprise exclusion from the national team, Kapeko said he had not received any communication from the coaches or the office. 

The Omaweneno born star said he was sidelined without any conversation or approach as to what their focus is.
