Netball shelved to make way for Youth Games

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Netball Association (BONA) has postponed the national netball league, which usually starts in May, to the first week of June to make way for the second edition of the Africa Youth Games.

"The country will be hosting over 54 countries which will be participating in different sports code, netball included," explained Kelebogile Maplanka,"BONA’s publicity secretary this week

Maplanka dismissed suggestions that the league was postponed because BONA was finding it hard to seal a deal with a sponsor.
