Botswana Motor Sport (BMS) president, Simon Modisaeman has expressed delight at the organisation and the performance of the local riders at the just ended 1000 Desert Race in Jwaneng.

The annual event saw Team Toyota maintaining its dominance with its three vehicles scooping positions one to three. Leeroy Poulter beat last year’s winner, Anthony Taylor to the first position as he won the race for the first time.

Taylor finished second while teammate, Conrad Reutenbach came third in gruelling two days of action.
