Morocco withdraw from Gaborone rugby tourney

Morocco has pulled out of the Six Nations Rugby tournament which starts in Gaborone on Sunday. The North Africans cited financial challenges for the withdrawal.

Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) president, Elijah Jones said Impala Rustenburg from South Africa will replace Morocco. Botswana is hosting the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) tournament for the second year running. 

Besides, Botswana, the other countries in the competition are Zambia, Mauritius, Swaziland and Nigeria. Impala Rustenburg come in as guests and their points which not count towards promotion.
