Moore turns down TAFIC job

Venue blamed for low turnout - FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC’s efforts to recruit Francistown businessman, Don Moore to run the affairs of the club have hit a snag. Moore was elected chairperson at the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in absentia on Saturday but has since declined the offer, Mmegi Sport can reveal.

Moore told Mmegi Sport yesterday that while he appreciates the faith shown in him, he did not have the time to run the club.

“I appreciate the confidence they have shown in my ability but I do not have the time and the money to be the chairman of the club,” Moore said yesterday.
