Broadhurst-based Marang Junior Secondary School (JSS) boys’ team are this year’s Copa Coca-Cola Under-15 champions after beating Ntebogang JSS 2-1 in an evenly-contested and thrilling encounter played on Wednesday.

Attacking midfielder, Kagiso Disang scored a stunning winner from outside the box in the second half after his teammate, Botshelo Ledibogo had put them back in the game with an equaliser before the two sides went into a break. Ntebogang had initially taken the lead with a beautiful goal from Lame Mathe.

The Kanye-based school kicked off the match as the better side with Alpheous Taukobong and Mathe looking very dangerous on the ball. They created chances early on and were rewarded when Marang goalkeeper made a terrible mistake trying to pass to his teammate. Mathe intercepted and left the crowd thrilled with a spectacular finish, chipping the ball over the goalkeeper.
