Makwengwe Denies Applying For Zebras Job

FRANCISTOWN: Gaborone United (GU) coach Philimon Makwengwe has shot down suggestions that he may apply to coach the senior football national team, the Zebras.

Makwengwe revealed that when addressing members of the press after his team was beaten 2-0 by Jwaneng Galaxy in the Mascom Top 8 Final at the Francistown Sports Complex on Saturday.

He said that currently anyone who successfully applies for that position is doomed to fail from the start because conditions are not conducive for any coach to succeed.
