FRANCISTOWN: Former international goalkeeper Thabo 'Mahala' Motang stole the show when he appeared between the posts during a First Division North League game between his club Mahalapye United Hotspurs and Great North Tigers (GNT) at the Francistown stadium Saturday.

Motang quit competitive football in 2004 after helping Lobatse-based BMC to gain promotion to the topflight. After this, everyone thought he had retired for good, but his performance over the weekend has set tongues wagging.
