Kenosi hails the G4S programme

NAIROBI: Botswana's promising 200m runner, Fanuel Kenosi has praised the G4S 4teen programme that he has been part of since 2007. The programme was started by security company G4S to drill young talented athletes.

A broad mix of international talent from Bangladesh, Botswana, Colombia, China Taipei, Estonia, Guatemala, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Macau, Nigeria, South Africa and Thailand were all brought together under the G4S 4teen banner with one common goal, to compete at the 2012 London Olympics. Kenosi who represented Botswana at the Beijing Olympics told Mmegi Sport here that he was over the moon when he realised that he was chosen as one of the most promising athletes to benefit from the programme. He said that the programme has afforded him an opportunity to progress and further his studies.

Kenosi who will turn 21 on May 3 reached Form Three but the G4S programme has afforded him an opportunity to further his studies.
