Kavazovic could face further charges over media snub

Township Rollers coach, Nikola Kavazovic is likely to face further charges from the Botswana Premier League (BPL) Disciplinary Committee after announcing that he would shun all post-match interviews.

Kavazovic has a case to answer before the DC for his comments after the bruising encounter against Sharps Shooting Stars played last month at the UB Stadium. The Serbian accused his opponents on the day for playing ‘kickboxing and fighting sport in the field of football’ and labelled them as a ‘small team’. 

Speaking to journalists after his team played to a 2-2 draw with Orapa United on Monday at the Lobatse Sports Complex, Kavazovic accused the media of writing false reports about him thus landing him in hot soup with the BPL DC.
