Players fight for bail as Galaxy beat GU in Farncistown PIC: KENNEDY RAMOKONE

FRANCISTOWN: Jwaneng Galaxy beat Gaborone United (GU) 2-0 to clinch the Mascom Top 8 title in a final played under floodlights in the Francistown Sports Complex on Saturday.

Galaxy, with the weekend’s triumph, moved a level with GU and Township Rollers as the tournament’s most successful teams with two titles each.

Playing in front of a near-capacity crowd, Galaxy showed their intentions early on.
